" We are excited to be helping people. We have a really great experience. This organization helps people, but you also get to know the people you help. We are helping anyone we know or can," said Southeast Junior member, Kim Pokorny.
Habitat for Humanity SEMO Chapter started in October 2009 as a small, dedicated group of students who wanted to volunteer their time helping others. Now, the organization has grown to almost 30 members, who continue to spread awareness for Habitat for Humanity and are changing people's futures, one house at a time.
